For the record I still don’t fully understand crytpo but I did buy some. I didn’t get a lot as I still believe and clearly see its volatility. I figured why not grab a little bit to really review it for myself.

It has been a couple month since my initial purchase. I am very selective about what I buy and do the research. Still don’t fully understand it! Over the time I’ve owned crypto there hasn’t been much change. It goes up and down far more often than traditional stocks. I’m sure there is opportunity with the swings to make some gains but I’m not there yet and the frequency of changes requires far more time than I have. To be honest I would really like to wake up with a big gain and get out of crypto as soon as possible.

Every week or even more often I read about an exchange withdrawing all their customer funds and disappearing into the wind. Or, far more often, someone losing all their money through some kind of scam. I’d rather not disclose the crypto I own or the services I use to buy it for that reason. The worse part about the stories is there is almost always not a happy ending when someone gets their money back.

To help understand crypto I think someone should create a visual map of all the different coins, their actions, and how they affect the overall system. It would certainly help me digest the concepts.

Stay tuned for future updates. I hope they are positive.
